Location: London
A main Civil Contractor are seeking an experienced and hardworking Project Manager based in London within there Civil Rail section.
To work on multiple Civil Rail projects ranging from Station Upgrades  to Structural and Refurbishment projects.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
·        Provide operational support to specific tender as directed by the Director.
·         Act as Bid Manager if necessary reporting to the Director where appropriate,
·         Provide programme support and written text, plans, risk assessments etc. required for tender submission.
·         Chair and participate in meetings, interviews etc. with subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
·         Prepare the preliminary required for the tender.
·         Assist in producing scope documents
·         Assist in early procurement elements
·         Organise site mobilization including site set up
·         Ensure accurate Tender handover meeting are held
·         Ensure HSEQ pre start meeting are held
·         Prepare and maintain project information
·         Liaise with line management re: approvals and decisions at key stages
·         Prepare and present project reports
·         Contribute to our recognition within the industry
·         Manage the design
·         Develop and protect our subcontractor relationships
·         Manage stakeholder engagement
·         Monitor progress against cost plans, programmes and quality/environmental plans
·         Manage and control changes to scope, requirements, personnel etc.
·         Identify and evaluate risks, determine and manage actions, maintain Risk Register
·         Development, Management and Maintenance of Site Management Plan
·         Monitor progress with up to date programmes so that timely clear direction can be given to the team on critical construction/financial targets.
·         Develop the Tender Programme into a construction programme
·         Build and maintain a good relationship with the client and all external parties.
·         Build, develop, support and maintain the team.
·         Complete Understanding of all the project objectives
·         Deliver the works safely
Required Experience
·         Proven technical and project management abilities
·         Strong organisational and management skills
·         Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
·         Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
·         Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
·         Sufficient experience required in construction.
