I am looking for an M&E Coordinator to be based in Liverpool working with a Main Contractor to work on various projects between £1m-£20m+

Main Responsibilities:

•    Managing Mechanical & Electrical elements of live projects and tenders.
•    Managing the design process, with a focus on build ability and efficiency, to ensure the optimum solution is arrived at.
•    Liaising with tender and project teams to ensure design is developed in line with expectations.
•    Ensuring a programme is prepared and agreed with each designer, consultant and subcontractor responsible for M&E works.
•    Ensuring M&E design, installation and commissioning programmes are incorporated into the main programme.
•    Meeting with designers and subcontractors on a regular basis to ensure the design, installation and commissioning works are developing as planned.
•    Monitoring progress of the design and works and updating the programme as necessary.
•    Ensuring the design and works are managed in accordance with the relevant quality procedures.
•    Designing of minor work elements to satisfy project specific requirements.
•    Liaising with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers and third parties as appropriate.
•    Providing M&E technical input and advice as required for live projects and tenders.
•    Coordinating any temporary M&E services required.
•    Providing M&E construction methodology input and incorporating in the programme where required.
•    Managing the flow of information from the M&E design team and subcontractors and advising the project team of any impact on progress and programme.
•    Providing necessary information to the Procurement Department to enable the procurement of materials and subcontractors.
•    Providing input to handover documents.
•    Introducing improvements and innovations where appropriate.
•    Liaising with the Commercial and Project Management teams on commercial aspects relevant to the role as required.

Salary is £25,000 – £40,000 (dependant on experience) + car allowance, private healthcare, pension and other benefits
