Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with a young dynamic developer who are expanding their commercial team due to the winning of numerous new projects around London.  They have projects that are mixed use and private residential projects.

The projects will be £2-5M and you will be overseeing up to 4 projects at one time with a junior QS working under you and working closely with a contracts manager.

Duties

• Preparation of Tenders and issuing same to trade contractors.
• Cost budgeting on all Project
• Cost forecasting on all projects
• Managing monthly claims on Variations and Design changes
• Managing monthly bank Drawdowns
• Reporting on Costs and Value engineering the Construction Drawings.
• Managing the Sub-contract Packages and their Monthly drawdowns.
• Maintaining and Issuing Construction status drawings to Sub-Contractors
• Weekly site visit to site to monitor works and Progress with the IMS.
• Project reporting on Profit – Loss on a monthly basis
• Procurement of materials and take offs for same.
• Preparation of Material delivery Schedules in line with Construction Program.
• Preparation of tracker sheets for Design information release dates, in line with the construction program.
• General day to Day QS works.
