Senior Quantity Surveyor – M&E Rail : North West London
Pinnacle Recruitment are currently recruiting for an international civil engineering main contractor who are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a Rail Depot based in North West London. The ideal candidate will have previously worked within the Building Division with strong emphasis on M&E.
Personal Specification
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 6 years post graduate expereince within the building or civils division
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience working within M&E or managing M&E Sub Contractors
- MRICS extremely advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the Commercial Manager Key Duties will include:
- Presentation of all applications for payment, including all contractual entitlements.
- Management and Procurement of M&E Sub Contract Packages
- Ensuring that payments are received in accordance with the contract terms.
- Submission of estimate / tendering information to the client.
- Presentation of Final Accounts, including negotiation of all contractual entitlements.
- Presentation of weekly cost / value information, delivery schedules and associated Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data.
- Preparation and presentation of Monthly Cost/Value Reconciliations and Final Cost/Value Forecasts.
- Preparation and presentation of forward work schedules and cash flows.
- Financial and commercial management of Sub-contractors through to settlement of their Final Accounts.
- Preparation of appropriate documentation in support of additional payment, variations, claims etc.
- Commercial support to the site and contracts management team as well as estimating and procurement
- Close liaison with the client on all commercial matters, including preparation and submission of supporting information.
As this is a permanent Position in order to be considered for this role, you must be a British Citizen or have a indefinatel leave to remain. You must have previous experience working for a main or sub contractor ideally within a rail or Construction (M&E) environment.
