Working on behalf of a major home builder who are looking to expand their team and currently seeking a Technical Manager for their future Developments. Working on new build, traditional build houses and apartments.
There developments are based around quality rather than quantity with strong standards in design, whilst also providing and maintain strong relations with internal and external parties.
The company are unique in their own way and are passionate about providing exceptional well and carefully designed homes, who always maintain strong relationships.
Technical Coordinator Responsibilities
•Ensure that all legal requirements are approved to ensure that projects begin and are constructed of the highest standard
•Be present on site occasionally in order to carry out site checks.
•Formulate and continuously develop briefs, by organising applicable information as instructed by the Technical Manager
•Follow technical processes and procedure whilst carry out your role and improve or address any Technical issues in order to improve the process of any given project.
•Checking full working drawing packages.
•Identify all surveys, site investigations and consultants that would be required on a project.
•Manage the due diligence exercise on the design information received
•Fulfill Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy
Requirements
•Minimum of 3- 5 years relevant experience in a managerial role
•Good problem solver and work with minimal instruction
•Smart, presentable and happy to deal directly with customers
•Punctual, reliable and good practical skills
•Degree qualified or Equivalent
•Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
•Technical understanding and knowledge of regulatory constraints
•Understanding of the planning process.
•Project Management Skills.
•Demonstrate a continuous professional construction background in a design
•Substantial experience of new build residential projects predominantly housing schemes.
•A good working knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC Technical Standards.
•Good team player with ability to liaise confidently and professionally with clients, consultants and construction teams.
