The Security 50 from A&S magazine is an annual rankings of public-listed physical security manufacturers around the globe solely based on their financial performance (sales revenue). On the rank, companies’ business ranges from biometrics, access control, video surveillance, alarms and integrated security solutions.

The global demand for security remains; however, multiple factors have remodeled the security industry landscape. Two big Chinese companies have been leveled up to the international stage, while their opponents have been left behind or forced to branch out. Meanwhile, the changeable global economic and political status has also made future growth for many companies uncertain.

Hikvision have reached the pinnacle of the A&S Mag Top 50 leapfrogging Honeywell Security into top spot. The Chinese manufacturer grew 43.6% in revenues in 2014-2015 and has increased revenues in the last two years enormously. Bosch Security Systems hold fast at #3.

Dahua continues to grow and is now at #4 37.5%growth and surpassed the Global Technologies Division of Assa Abloy and Safran although the two Access Control manufacturers still maintained healthy growth with their innovations and high demand from national projects.

Biggest increase in growth was from US video surveillance manufacturer Infinova whose revenue growth was an amazing 85.1% rising to over $250m total revenue.
