Senior Quantity Surveyor

My client is one of the UK’s leading main contractors, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join there team working on various different projects all within the High End Residential Industry.

Based in London.

The ideal candidates with be intelligent, diligent, thorough and trustworthy.

– Undertake regular site visits and, in conjunction with the Project / Contracts Manager, prepare comprehensive reports for internal monthly project reviews to demonstrate project and team performance and ensure that the project team(s) receive adequate challenge, support and guidance.

They must have done stage 2 tender works.

– Ensure that reporting surveying staff all understand their roles, responsibilities & performance expectations and operate competently; and that continuous development takes place through performance reviews, training, coaching and succession planning.

– Ensure all bidding and tender processes are applied at relevant stages of predevelopment and that correct forms are completed and issued.

Key relationships:
– May be responsible for one or more Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors
– Liaises with customers, PQS’s and subcontractors & suppliers
– Reports to Project Manager for all matters related to the delivery of the project and to Commercial Manager or Managing Surveyor for functional matters
