The two sites, one located just outside Norwich at Hethersett and the other in North Chelmsford at Channels, have a combined GDV of well over £100m.

The site in Norwich has gained planning consent for around 1,200 homes to be built and was bought by Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon Hoemes. Bidwells and Brown & Co were the agents.

The Chelmsford site, which has capability for over 750 homes, has been bought by Croudace Homes, who appointed Strutt & Parker as agents.

Hugo Kirby, the MD of Ptarmigan Land, said:

“This has been an exceptionally strong end to the year for Ptarmigan. We are enjoying considerable growth as we build our portfolio of large sites across the South of England and capitalise on our proven ability to secure strategic consents.”

Ptarmigan Land expects to deliver another 10 sites with full planning consent for more than 10,000 homes to be constructed over the next two years.
