Assistant QS – Civil Engineeirng / Construction
Salary: £30 - £38k + pkg

A civil engineering / ground engineering contractor that specialises in piling & groundworks packages on multi million projects across the London /SE is currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Working as part of the surveying team in charge of the commercial management sector of the ongoing projects and some running co – current .
Our contracting clients is a main civil contractor part of a major multi million pound orgainisation, delivering projects ranging up to £30 million throughout the southern region.
Successful candidates main Duties and Responsibilities will consist of:
- Reporting to, and assisting the commercial manager.
- Preparing estimates, bills of quantities, schedule of rates and cost plans.
- Analysing and collating timesheets and daily record sheets.
- Preparing monthly applications and cost versus value reports.
- Estimating time, labour and material costs by using feasibility studies.
- Analysing production performance.
- Maintaining and reviewing jobs to check efficiency and consistency.
