Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Rail Sector (Wembley)

We are currently seeking a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a main contractor based in Wembley on a number of multi discipline rail projects ranging from £500k – £50m. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a number of projects in this role working on a NEC form of contract, with exposure to NR.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead Quantity Surveyor on Projects / Cost Centres assigned to with assigned commercial aspects and always deal with same adopting a reasonable approach
- Display commercial astuteness
- Process weekly P&L and reserve reports as required
- assist with the processing of the pay role as required
- Able to balance competing priorities and meet personal targets within a fluctuating & demanding workload
Essential Knowledge
- Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent or training towards
