They have developed into a reputable organisation who offer ground-breaking and value solutions for all clients. They are very diverse in the projects they carry out such as Private Residential, Commercial, Health, Leisure, Education, Religion, Conservation and Social Housing.

Due to their success and strong turnover whilst delivering outstanding results, they now have an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes.

 

Contracts Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver numerous construction contracts, whilst making sure programme requests are met and accomplish the client and customer objectives and prospects.
  • Manage contracts to certify targets are being met on time, to cost and of quality and standards.
  • Supervise the direction projects and ensure that client conditions and requirements are met.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety is being upheld across all sites.
  • Identify important decisions and arrangements required to deliver successful projects
  • Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others
  • Excellent communication, structural and influencing skills
  • Track record of managing numerous schemes concurrently
  • Attend pre-contract meetings and take accountability for the design, quality supervision and make sure suitable actions and documentation are put in place.
  • Able to staff contracts sufficiently and liaise with the Bid Team to ensure that contracts are on the right path to be won.
  • Develop and form first-rate relationships by having good communication skills with the Clients

Personal Specification & Requirements

  • Highly motivated with strong desire to grow within the business
  • Knowledge and experience of large scale refurb and new build
  • Good problem solver and work with minimal instruction
  • Smart, presentable and happy to deal directly with customers
  • Punctual, reliable and good practical skills
  • Degree qualified or Equivalent
  • Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Up to date CSCS and SMSTS certificate
