A leading Regional Main Contractor that build, refurbish and regenerate homes and communities across the UK have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Care Engineer with a plumbing background to join them on a permanent basis, based in their Norfolk Region.

They are looking for a hardworking and committed Customer Service Engineer with a plumbing background to deliver excellent customer service; managing and delivering post contract services to their clients and purchasers, improving their customers journey and enhancing satisfaction results.
Role Overview:
- Liaise with occupants and carry out effective back up cover to subcontractors
- Limit the extent of damage by making safe in the event of emergency works
- Responsible for health and safety to both operatives and the occupants of the property
- Finalise the completion of defects liability works where the subcontractor fails his obligations or any material faults
- Health and Safety – All employees have a statutory duty to look after their own safety and to give due consideration for the safety of others
- Equality & Diversity – All employees must comply with the Company Equality and Diversity Policy, ensuring that at all times behaviour is fair and non-discriminatory
- Developing relationships with purchasers to identify areas of improvement and design out, in order to maintain a customer friendly company
- Provide monthly report of defects found at home demonstration handover and courtesy call.
Ideal Candidate:
- The successful applicant must be willing to travel throughout the whole of the East Anglia region and will be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude towards achieving successful outcomes in the following areas:
- Hold a Plumbing qualification
- Experience of the building industry
- Knowledge of NHBC requirements
- Proven experience in customer care is essential, excellent communication and organisational skills
- Delivering quality
- Meeting deadlines
- Full driving licence
- Adhering to Service First principles
- Compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures in respect of Health, Safety, the Environment, LIMS, IT and Human Resources
- Multi skill capabilities with track record in a proactive approach in resolving a wide range of defects
- CSCS card is beneficial
