I have an excellent opportunity for an Estimating Administrator / Assistant to join a major building contractor based in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis.

 

The company have been operating for approximately 15 years’ and have continuously grown from strength to strength. They work on a range of projects including new build, refurbishments, fit-outs and maintenance across multiple sectors including commercial offices, warehouses, industrial buildings, residential / high end residential, leisure buildings and more.

 

They are looking for someone to come on board and support the commercial team; ideally someone that has a good admin background within the construction industry. The role will include various admin support duties and will provide a platform to progress into an Assistant Estimator role. This is a great opportunity for someone to come on board, learn and develop their skills and progress into Estimating.

 

Experience:

  • Strong administrative background
  • Experience working in the construction industry
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent software
  • Be punctual and have good timekeeping
  • Can take instruction and effectively carry out tasks
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
