Recognised House Builder urgently require a Fire Manager to manage the Technical and Commercial aspects of the company’s fire projects from 1st contact through to completion of any relevant remedial works.

Duties and responsibilities include:

·To manage incoming correspondence from 3rd parties relating to fire.

·To review historic information, records, subcontract details and drawings relating to fire projects where relevant

·To agree and commission any necessary further investigation works

·To manage the company’s supply chain regarding potential recoveries

·To liaise with the the company’s Fire Team regarding fire projects

·To manage liaison with the company’s Legal Teams on relevant projects

·To coordinate the office commercial team to produce cost information.

·To ensure cost-effective solutions are delivered

·To tender and procure Fire Consultants, Designers and Subcontractors for remedial works as necessary.

·Twice monthly reporting to the internal office Management Team regarding fire projects

·Support to the office Technical Director and Commercial Director for monthly Fire Team reporting

·All in coordination with the Technical Director and Commercial Director

The ideal candidate will come from a Technical or Commercial background with appropriate knowledge and experience of complex medium rise and and high rise projects.

Have an ability to work across both the Technical and Commercial disciplines,

Have experience of managing legacy projects.

Knowledge of relevant Fire Regulations,

Ability to manage a broad range of 3rd party stakeholders, residents and regulators
