Freelance Site Engineer – Highways
Salary: £20-30ph
Location: South East/London
Regions: Hertfordshire, Kent, London, Middlesex, South East, Surrey
We are currently recruiting for a freelance Site Engineer to work for a leading civil engineering contractor who specialise in Highways related projects.
You will be working on projects ranging from £25m to £55m+ and predominantly involve working on new road construction and bridges.
Candidate requirement:
- Experience working as a Site Engineer on medium to large civil/ infrastructure projects
- Carrying out and recording quality control inspections.
- Coordinating of CAD drawings
- Setting out
- User of CAD and able to gather and compare current drawings and raise any discrepancies/ clashes
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Related HNC/Degree or equivalent
- Experience working as a Site Engineer on large civil/ infrastructure projects
The role is for at least 6 months with the view to ongoing. Experience of working with TFL or on LOHAC would be an advantage.
