General Foreman – Highways

We are looking for a General Foreman to join a specialist highway and civil engineering contractor, delivering schemes across Surrey and Sussex.

You must have a minimum 3 years experience in highways.

Projects range in value from £10k – £7 million for local authorities and Highways England.

Projects currently include principle contractor works on the M25 and highways maintenance schemes for the Surrey area.

You will be responsible for managing staff on site and specialist sub-contractors to self-deliver the required works on projects including section 278 works; bridge repair/replacements; junction upgrades; drainage upgrades and specifically SMART Motorway Projects.

It is imperative that you have experience of working on highways projects, you will able to read drawings, be computer literate, fully conversant with health and safety procedures as well as delivering the work on time, safely and within budget.
