A well-known, leading UK Rail engineering company have multiple new long term contractual opportunities for experienced and committed P-Way Engineers to join the project team currently engaged in lengthy Plain line, S+C track renewals and installation deliveries to be based in London
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the P-Way Delivery Lead, you the P-Way Engineer will be required to assist and deliver mid-week P-Way renewals requirements plans and assist the on-site delivery as required. As the P-Way Engineer, you will be adept with survey and setting out techniques for track renewals / installations and experienced in leading and mentoring others on occasion.
Requirements:
The successful P-Way Engineer will have had previous experience in a very similar role and will be astute with regards to P-Way related planning and technical delivery with a demonstrated history on Plain line and S+C Track delivery within mainline or underground infrastructure.
Needed:
- Strong P-Way planning experience with the ability to competently implement required renewals delivery out on-site
- Very competent with regards to Site Set-ups, surveying, track design review, with effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good working P-way knowledge with the ability to overcome any technical delivery issues and safety aware
- Strong team lead, motivator and mentor of others
- Competent and confident liaising and communicating with project leads, clients and key-stakeholders alike
- Will hold a valid PTS and Stressing levels (1, 2 & or 3), Track Handback appreciation and Tamping appreciation / abilities
