We are recruiting a Project Manager to work on Rail & Civil Engineering projects in NE/NW London for an established engineering contractor.
This contractor is keen to bring on individuals with a growth mindset who value teamwork and effective communication.

As the Project Manager, you will be directly responsible for managing various regional rail and civil engineering projects. You will also successfully lead contract delivery by ensuring the site team is aware of the contract parameters and has the capability and resources necessary to achieve contract objectives.

Duties Include:
• Involvement/input in projects at all stages, from pre-qualifying and tendering through to completion
• Ensuring that the site team are fully aware of the contract parameters and has the capability and resources necessary to achieve the objectives
• Ensuring that the contract is executed in line with the requirements
• Delivery of the contract within the programme and budget
• Control and manage subcontract resources
• Monitoring the contract progress to ensure objectives are being met
• Working with the Project Delivery Team, ensure changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed
• Submitting reports on contract progress to the Framework Manager
• Identifying business development opportunities

Person Specification:
• Project Management experience in rail /civil projects
• PTS / SMSTS
• Degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering (or equivalent compensating experience in a technical engineering role)
• Experience managing an extensive portfolio of schemes at varying stages of the project life-cycle is essential
