Quantity Surveyor – Rail Engineering
Salary: £40, 000 - £60,000
Location: Heathrow
Regions: London, Middlesex, South East, South West, Surrey
We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a main Civil Contractor who work within Civil, infrastructure, Rail and Groundwork’s based projects. Role will be based in West London, on a multi discipline civil rail project valued £40m.
Relevant Qualifications needed;
- Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
- Progressed steadily from an commercial background
- Previously worked on Civil sectors
- Chartered or Working towards Chartership
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment
- The preparation of Cost Reports to the Client
- The preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
- The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
- Contract administration, including change management and maintaining associated registers.
- Maintaining project risk and opportunities schedule
- Procurement for project/section of works
- Ensuring all involved in procurement for project understand allowances for items they are responsible for and the procedures to be followed
- Financial reporting for project/section of works
- Preparing cash forecast
- Preparing quarterly forecasts
