Quantity Surveyor Rail – Manchester
Salary: £40,000 + pkg
Location: North West
Region: Manchester
We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor based in Manchester to work for a main civil engineering contractor on a permanent or contract basis. This will be working on a number of station upgrade projects, predominantly platforms across the North West Region, based in Manchester.
Candidate Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience, ideally on rail based projects
- Understanding of the NEC & NR forms of contract
- Autonomously undertake the CVR process
- Procurement of Sub Contractors
- Experience liaising with client
- Accurate forecasting and cost / value reporting
- Be aware of contractual requirements of the project
- Monitor and maximise cash flow
