Site Manager/Foreman – Highways

We are looking to recruit freelance site based Engineers or Site Managers/Foreman to work on a highways project on high speed roads.

Working on night shifts you will be required to supervise the strip out and new construction of a Vehicle restraint system.

Works are likely to be carried out by a sub-contractor but there is still the potential of this contractor self-delivering the package of works.

Duties will include; start of shift briefings, ensuring works are carried out in accordance to the design and specification, end of shift reports and dairies, Health and safety, record keeping, management of programme and technical input.

You are required to have previous experience of working on highways projects in a high speed road works environment and may come from an engineering background or be an experienced foreman/Supervisor whom has experience and understanding of technical drawings and can assist with problem solving.

A good communicator is important for liaising with clients, traffic management contractors and various stakeholders as well as reporting to senior managers.

Qualifications Candidates are required to hold CSCS (preferably a gold card), SMSTS or SSSTS, and First Aid.
