Supervisor – Highways

Main duties and responsibilities for this role will include:

Flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to change where required

Relevant industry training certificates are desirable (NSWRA, G39, First Aid, SSSTS, IPAF, 302.1)Supervising the maintenance and installation of street lighting works
Carrying out visual inspection of installations to ensure that the electrical installation and quality of work reaches the required standard
Arranging inspection visits by the client and governing bodies.
Ensuring that any faults noted by the client are rectified immediately and re-inspection arranged.
Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and completed

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Previous Supervisory experience and ability to effectively lead a team
Familiar with the Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671
Excellent listening & communication skills, with the ability to deal with employees of all levels
Flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to change where required
